This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup which recently raised $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Airbnb, and is Airbnb’s exclusive global partner for restaurants.

About the Role

Joining our new European team as our second hire in Europe, reporting directly to the GM, Europe (one of the founding team at YPlan and formerly Time Out & Toptable), you will play a central role in helping Resy to build its footprint in the UK and beyond.

The key responsibility is to drive adoption of the Resy platform by leading London restaurants, and secure enduring commercial relationships across the industry.

The ideal candidate has a background in hospitality and restaurants, is very well connected and passionate about the industry, and interested in working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • End to end sales responsibility for London/UK market: develop a pipeline of qualified leads with restaurant client prospects, cold call, email, meet and secure client relationships with leading restaurants.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and continue to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive partner relationships, responding to any/all service issues for our restaurant partners.
  • Support the General Manager with any other activities to help establish Resy in Europe as required.

Requirements

  • A passion for restaurants and hospitality is essential
  • Ability to leverage your existing network and industry relationships to create new leads
  • Interest in working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter, comfortable working unsupervised, and accountable for your own results
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales
  • Stellar communication skills

Big Plus if You Have

  • Software sales and/or SaaS knowledge and experience
  • Experience selling other reservation systems into restaurants
  • Salesforce experience
  • Startup experience
